Shades of Fred

Shades of Fred is a Ska-Punk band from Suffolk County, New York composed of High Schoolers. They draw their influences from bands such as Operation Ivy, Bad Brains, Sublime, etc. . As well as playing Ska they also play reggae, punk rock, metal and sometimes jazz. Christian and Jack have been jamming together since their days in junior high. Jack was the original bassist for the band but switched to trumpet when Christian found Matt Bala.They are currently the only founding members in the band and certainly influential on the direction of the band. Frankie DeFalco joined Shades of Fred originally as a guitarist but following the departure of bassist Matt he quickly stepped up to fill the position. If you are still reading this, it is all a lie. Shades of Fred just appeared one day out of the freaking sun. The universe birthed it's own rulers and put them in a skatastic band that plays freaking awesome music.
