About Shades and Echoes
SHADES AND ECHOES gründeten sich im Frühling 2014 im rheinischen Neuss. Alex (Gesang/Gitarre) und Nik (Drums) spielten zuvor schon seit neun Jahren gemeinsam bei PIECES OF ANY. Nachdem mit
Marc (Gitarre) und Marek (Bass) zwei neue Mitglieder den Proberaum betraten, kam es zur
Neugründung und der Namenstaufe SHADES AND ECHOES. Stilistisch orientiert sich die Rockband an
verschiedenen Einflüssen wie Alternative-, Punk-, Elektro- oder Indie-Rock-Elementen. Im Herbst 2014 entstand die erste 5-Song-EP im Another-Level-Tonstudio Kaarst.

After the breakup of the Punkband PIECES OF ANY, SHADES AND ECHOES was founded in 2014 in Neuss, Germany by the talents Alex Brenner (Guitar, Vocals), Nik Wienands (Drums), Marc Bezani
(Guitar, Backing Vocals) and Marek Zalewski (Bass). Their music combines powerful chords and melodies with lyrics of gravity and melancholy. With inspirations of california punkrock, british alternative rock and Melodic Hardcore Elements, SHADES AND ECHOES is emphasizing intense and punchy live perfomances. In February 2015 they released the first 5-Song EP REDAMNTION on iTunes, Spotify etc.
