Lost In The City is a band born out of circumstance, time, and experience. With an average age of 23, Lost In The City is comprised of musicians who have been separate parts of the Kansas City music scene for the past decade. Lost In The City took their collective experience and hit the ground running as they hopped right into playing shows locally, writing and recording a full album, and even hitting the road on a nation-wide tour. Despite line-up changes, working full-time jobs, going to school, and competing for stage time in a crowded music scene, Lost In The City has found a way to persevere without skipping a beat. Ultimately, Lost In The City is comprised of the catchy vocals and powerful rhythms of Shane Radford, the driving bass lines of Cullan Wiley, the crunchy drums of Kyle Constant, and the floating guitar work of Dustin Proctor. Lost In The City draws numerous influences from pillars of the alternative rock industry including Fall Out Boy, Blink-182, Amberlin, and Jimmy Eat World. Despite having a polished sound, Lost In The City is known for its positivity-filled live show in which they encourage everyone who is in attendance to follow their dreams no matter what. Elizabeth Porch of By The Barricade writes, “Lost In The City was third on the bill, delivering a great performance through and through. The group didn’t hesitate for a second in an all-inclusive round of positivity.” Lost In The City is no stranger to pressure. They’ve had the opportunity to share the stage with signed bands such as The Downtown Fiction and Heartist. Vocalist Shane Radford has been quoted as saying, “We live for pressure. It brings out the best in you. Steel isn’t made strong from a weak flame.” Lost In The City is expecting to release their debut album “Genesis” in early April.
