About Section Nineteen

“The Red and Black Attack” – Bio Section Nineteen was formed initially in 2002 as a recording project under the name "Tolerance" which naturally evolved into Section Nineteen in 2013 Section Nineteen are a ‘hard-hitting, electro-trash punk rock band’ from the UK comprising of 3 members: • “Toxic” Terri Hamilton – Bass Guitar & Backing Vox • Dan “Bang Bang” Cunningham – Drums, Percussion & Backing Vox • Zero Tolerance – Lead Guitar, Lead Vox & Showmanship Section Nineteen are renowned for big, gritty riffs, catchy choruses, dirty groove, dark, heavy sound and crazy onstage antics! The evolution from “Tolerance” to Section Nineteen: • 2003 - Sold out shows in small venues across the Midlands • 2003 - Interest from small labels and management • 2004 - 1st release of “Addict” - radio airplay in the UK, Japan, Germany, Canada &USA • 2004 - A 23 date UK tour followed with label and press interest including Kerrang! • 2004 - Endorsement deals with Gibson guitars and Engl amplification • 2004 - Co- headlined “Party in the Prague” festival in Czechoslovakia, alongside “Nemhain.” The band was interviewed for national television. Highlights of this 3 day Fest included playing underground in a disused nuclear cold war bunker with water dripping all over the stage! The main show was almost cancelled when 50 members of the Czech “Mafia” turned up with dogs and guns, explaining to the promoters that unless they paid a large amount of money the fest will not continue! Being faced with machine guns, the promoter was forced to give all the band pay to these guys to not incur any violence! • 2007 - Studio recording - “A.S.B.O.” in 2007 - airplay in Canada and the USA • 2007 - Appearances with Blondie and The Anti Nowhere League • 2008 - Small festival appearances across the UK • “Hard Rock Hell 1” - “Tolerance” shared the same line up with such bands as Diamond Head, Twisted Sister, Saxon, Girlschool, Tesla, UFO, Vixen & Cradle of Filth • 2008 - Small UK tour, magazine interviews and a trip to Los Angeles to record more demos • 2008 - LA Based Magazine "MUEN" were so impressed by the band’s DIY Attitude, that a feature and interview was included in the magazine that was distributed throughout the USA A short break was to follow.... Zero began producing records and managing local bands, Terri toured the world with "Toxic Twins” (Aerosmith Tribute Band) and Dan got married.
 
Section Nineteen 2013-2014: • Currently making waves on the London music circuit - invited to perform at renowned venues such as The Dublin Castle, The Fiddlers Elbow and "Metalworks" (Camden Monarch) alongside members of Voodoo Six, Uriah Heap and Deep Purple • A&R ‘scouted’ for Rofl Audio Recording Studios (Nottingham) to record a Rofl Live Lounge In 2013 - Rofl Audio has worked with many well-known artists including Snoop Dogg, Elton John, Mary J Blige, Michael Buble and Slash.... • The band are currently recording their debut album entitled “Harder, Faster, Nowhere” - Confirmed tracks include “Addict” “Sister Sin” “Sugar Rush” “Slunt” and crowd favourite “Fuck Your Scene” • Weekly airplay on TBFM, Noise Level Critical, New Music Monday – Mansfield Radio (FM Radio!), Milton Keynes Radio, Birmingham Steel Radio, Midlands Metal Heads Radio, Dictator Radio and Trent Sound Radio. • A small UK Tour is being booked at present and Section Nineteen have been considered as support to Adam Ant and Limp Bizkit. • Section Nineteen’s music has been featured on SKY and Challenge TV as theme music for “TNA” and “Wrestletalk TV” • Nominated for ‘Best New band’ in the “Pure Rawk” awards • Semi-finalists in the “Metal 2 the Masses” competition for Bloodstock Festival • “Devolution” magazine feature – November 2014 • Section Nineteen are featured as Track 1 on TBFM Magazine’s (September 2014 Edition) “Breaking Bands” Cover-mount CD with their song “Slunt” • Festival appearances including “Salfest” “Degeneration Fest” “Aces High Festival” and “Pagan Pride Festival” in 2014 • Appeared at the O2 Academy Sheffield in October 2014 supporting Black Thunder Revue

Terri Hamilton ; started her musical education as a child with piano and guitar, been playing bass for the last 12 years. Best known in the UK music scene as bass player and manager of the Toxic Twins UK Aerosmith tribute band with over 10 years of gig all over the Uk and Europe under their belt. First joined Section Nineteen in 2007 when the band was still called Tolerance, she re-joined the band in 2013. Grew up listening to metal and classic rock, main influences Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, early Aerosmith, Ozzy Osbourne, early Metallica, Pantera, Iron Maiden. Favourite bass player John Paul Jones. Dan Cunningham ; Has been Playing Drums for 10 years, Best Known for His Bands EGo and Little Chuck Little. Dan Joined The BAnd In 2007. His Influences Span from The Ramones To Green Day, Offspring To Iron Maiden And Mettallica to Nirvana.His Favourite Drummer is John Bonham. Zero Tolerance ; Starting Playing guitar at the age of 10, Played first gig at 11 performing at primary school and at a social club .started writing at 13 and came Runner up in "UK Guitarist Of The year ". Formed first band at 14, Got first record contract at 15 and has had the opportunity to support many bands around this time such as Wolfsbane,Stray,Eddie and The Hot Rods, Noel Redding, Terrorvison,Kerbdog and The Wildhearts. Started AS a guitar demonstrator for Zoom/Marshall/John Birch/ amongst others at the age of 24 playing Large exhibition centres such as Birmingham NIA/NEC, and Wembly. Grew Up listening to 70s rock and main influences are ; Adam And The Ants, Slade, THe Sweet, David Bowie, T-Rex and Nirvana.. Favourite Guitar Player's- Andy Scott (Sweet) , MArco Pirroni (adam ant) The band Are Big Wrestling fans and have produced intro music for some of the UK,s Top Stars , which are still used today. Recently Zero Met up with the current TNA World Heavyweight Champion And tracks are being considered for inclusion on the TV Show. The Red And Black Attack!
