About Second Opinion
Second Opinion is a pop-punk band from Tienen (Belgium) consisting of singer/guitarist Rigo Claes, singer/bassist Daan Bauwens, guitarist Lucas Feys and drummer Jano Boogaerts. Their genre is influenced by bands like Blink-182, The Story So Far, Rise Against and others.
The band started on 28th December 2014, when they decided to leave behind their previous band name “College Sound”. This new name was a fresh start for the band and their new band member (Lucas Feys).After a few months they were back at it again with a completely new setlist consisting of original songs and covers.
The guys of Second Opinion have gained some solid on-stage experience from having played in cafés (Spike’s Poolbar, ’t Wiel,…) and youth houses (’T Paenhuys, JH De Bunker,…) to playing bigger events (Rock Landen, Trefrock,…).
In September, they released their first EP called Fat Fish EP, marking a new period in their career.
In October Second Opinion teamed up with From The Depths Entertainment to target an international audience.
