About Señora

Reverberations and echoes as an envelope for rhythms lead by the pulse of machines, animals, electricity, noises, roars, voices, cries, chants, howlings, bellowings, storms and stolen recordings.

Señora is Daniel Simón, a spanish producer born in 1984. Some of his tracks got popular in the last three years on the electronic music scene thanks to the support of Dj’s like Andrew Wheatherall, Oliver Koletzki, Sean Johnston and others.

Since his first EP “El barrio de la Plata” (Lurid Music 2017), he has experimented with different ways of sounds, reaching a new style in every release. “Indo EP” (Self-Produced 2017), “Muestra Nativa” (Shango Records 2018), “Ritmo Casablanca” (Night Noise 2019), “Algarabía EP” (LNDKHN 2019).

In 2019 a remix for “Kasbah de Tarouriert” by Nhii got a good position in playing lists and was included in some compilations like “A Tribe called Kotori” by Oliver Koletzki.

Since he is based in Berlin, Señora has been present in many festivals, clubs and parties all around the globe. Melt Festival (Ferropolis, Germany), Kometa Festival (Riga, Latvia), Tupper Festival (Barcelona, Spain) Fluc (Viena, Austria), Powerhouse (Moscow) Russia, Union (St. Petersburg) Russia…

2020 brings the first studio Album “Fósil” (Lurid Music). Nine songs that aim to reflect about the next evolutionary step of the human being.
