Antonio Maniglio and Luca de Blasi have started their career in Salento (Italy) in 2010. Under the alias SOUTHERN COAST, they have gained the first scores on the Beatport charts and, more important, influences from many different music genres, mixed in a very own eclectic sound. In 2012 the Guys have founded a dubstep project called ALL BL4KS. The single ‘Overstep’ feat. BoomDaBash shocked over 55,000 youtube viewers, while many mixtapes and bootlegs confirmed All Bl4ks as one of the major names on the italian Bass Music scene. In 2013 the broaden crew changes his name to SALENTO GUYS, releasing the dance-pop summer anthem ‘Pompa la Musica’ along with the italian masters of patchanka Cesko & Puccia from Après la Classe. La Musica and you all supporting it, have brought us to perform at the Summer Music Festival, face to face with 150.000 dancers, prime time on national TV Canale 5 for over 3.500.000 viewers. Salento Guys has been officially awarded by DJ Mag "Best Italian DJs" of 2013. Summer 2014: the project has been embraced by the memorable band Sud Sound System. We have released the collaboration “Impronta”. The single immediately became a hit and chosen as the official theme song for daily show on the national Radio 105. The single has been followed by a pack of 8 remixes, to imprint different versions for any kind of dancefloor: from deep to latin-house, from fidget to melburne bounce. Salento Guys have recently welcomed a new member, Steven Frisullo. Together they are working on a new album which will further evolve their style. They define it JAMMIN' EDM, as a fusion of dance-pop, reggae, twerk, electro, latin, bass, and any kind of stimuating influence they would anywhere find. Salento Guys have recently released a free download of their remix of Diplo’s ‘Biggie Bounce’. The bootleg dropped a wild twerk challenge all over Italy and Spain (#biggiebounceremix). This remix has been elected "Track Of The Week” by the italian talent show Top DJ. The ‘Biggie Bounce’ remix became an original song made with Admiral C4C, out in March 2016. The song, published by Cat Music (Romania) just reached 2 million views on YouTube. In the last months of 2016 they released a little bunch of songs made with @pakiandjaro: ‘Meet Her at the Love Parade’, a modern rebuilding of a historical banger tune, and a brand new one, 'Street Bang', released on Chuckie's Dirty Dutch label. 2017 began with lots of bootlegs: 'Run Up' by Major Lazer and 'Shape Of You' are the two songs which best identify their new style of making music, better redefined with the official remix for Silvio Carrano's "Forever". Una doppia partecipazione al "Music Summer Festival - Tezenis Live" di Canale 5, in collaborazione con DJmag, li elegge Best DJs italiani dell’anno. Il progetto ha ricevuto pieno supporto dai Sud Sound System e da questo sodalizio è nata la hit dancehall dell’estate 2014, “Impronta”: sigla ufficiale estiva di “105 All’Una” su Radio 105, a cui è seguito un remix pack di 8 versioni che ha sdoganato la traccia fra i clubbers di ogni genere musicale, dalla fidget alla bounce. Attualmente, con l'ingresso nel gruppo di STEVEN, i “ragazzi del Salento” stanno ultimando il loro primo album, in cui intendono allargare ulteriormente le loro frontiere musicali attraverso la proposta di un beat innovativo e peculiare: un crossover Jammin' EDM fra pop, reggae, twerk ed electro, in collaborazione con numerosi di artisti di rilievo nella scena italiana e internazionale. Attivisti #RaveYourFlag, i Salento Guys hanno recentemente rilasciato in Free Download un bootleg di “Biggie Bounce” (Diplo) che ha scatenato una twerk challenge fra decine di Dancehall Queens da tutta Italia (#biggiebounceremix). Il remix è stato eletto "Track Of The Week" dal talent show Top DJ. Il remix di "Biggie Bounce" è diventato una canzone originale, con la collaborazione di Admiral C4C, intitolato "Booty Bounce" e uscito a marzo 2016. La canzone, pubblicata su Cat Music (Romania), ha raggiunto 2 milioni di visualizzazioni su Youtube. Negli ultimi mesi del 2016 hanno rilasciato diverse canzoni con il duo Paki & Jaro: "Meet Her at the Love Parade", un rifacimento moderno di una traccia storica, e una traccia inedita, "Street Bang", rilasciata sull'etichetta Dirty Dutch di Chuckie. Il 2017 è iniziato con diversi bootleg: "Run Up" di Major Lazer e "Shape of You" di Ed Sheeran sono le due canzoni che meglio identificano il loro nuovo stile musicale, riconfermato dal loro remix per la canzone "Forever" di Silvio Carrano.
