Ryan Alan is an emerging country artist based out of New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. His unique, blended style gives audiences a tantalizing glimpse of a star in the making. Originally born in Harrisburg, Ryan was drawn to music at an early age while attendingconcerts with his father. He thought it could be nothing short of amazing; for he was extremely excited just watching the bands perform from his seat in the crowd. At that moment, a dream was born in young Ryan from the passion of the musical experience. He wanted nothing short of feeling what the performers were experiencing on stage. The path to becoming a musician was one of self instruction, as Ryan did not take any lessons but instead, learned to play guitar on his own. While growing up in Central Pennsylvania, he listened to country from the likes of Conway Twitty, Chris LeDoux, Hank Williams Jr., Joe Diffy and Garth Brooks; but he also enjoyed a bevy of rock bands like Black Sabbath, Creed, nd Metallica. Ryan’s style of music is a true blend of the artists that inspired him. They fueled his desire to connect with others through music. Music is therapy to him, just as it is for so many others. On the stage, everything from everyday life fades away – and at that moment nothing else matters but the sounds and vocals he is sharing with those around him. As he says, “There is nothing better than someone being inspired by one of my songs.” Away from the stage, Ryan describes himself as “a very simple guy” who enjoys fishing and wants to pick up hunting some day. Hanging out with friends, or kicking back for a good horror movie are the norm away from his trade. He still intends to pursue another goal – that of obtaining his truck driving certification and license; but his true ambitions are of a higher calling. Ryan’s drive to perform – that started way back in his youth – continues today. It is Ryan’s musical mission to help others feel better about their own situations in life by relating to one of his songs. Just as those past artists he listened to inspired him, Ryan longs to inspire others. By traveling the US and performing for audiences from coast to coast, Ryan hopes to secure a recording deal and further his career in the industry. Bringing his brand of country music to the masses would be the realization of his childhood dream and Ryan is getting closer to making that dream reality. He opened up for a country music stand out: Parmalee. Ryan drew enthusiastic applause from the crowd, while performing, serving notice that bigger days are ahead for this future star.
