Ruben Studdard

Saw this show last night in Suquamish (at Clearwater Casino) . I did the Meet & Greet Sound Check Experience. It was well-organized (I’ve done MANY M&Gs) and ran smoothly. You go to the merchandise table, meet Gordon (he runs & explains how the M&G experience works. You’ll have to be checked in by 4:50pm, you’ll get your lanyard, he explains the process, and then you go in the concert room where the Q&A happens. They answer everyone’s questions and then you take your pics with them! Both guys will sign your memorabilia afterwards! Then you have about 2hrs before the show starts. They have a GREAT banter-discussion on this part and during the actual show! But the BEST part of the show — both of their natural abilities to SING like there’s no tomorrow! Both flow so well with e/o and weave in/out of songs together! They feed off the good energy from one another. They have a fantastic band and a bonus female singer who all did very well! They were all sooooo very good! Clay & Ruben mostly did covers of classic songs and had a touch of personalities when they did about 5 boy band songs (by decade) — New Edition, New Kidz On the Block, BoyzIIMen, Basckstreet Boys, & N’Sync. They explained a lot about the challenges, fun memories, and shocking moments from American Idol. Such a well-done show! I brought my other half with me. He wasn’t wanting to go, but he surprisingly had a great time and I caught him singing all of the songs right along with these two great artists! See pics & videos up on my Instagram— Mr_Music_Mania

This is the 3rd time I’ve seen this show. It’s such a good time. Ruben does a great job performing the music of the late, great Luther Vandross. It is a short show—just an hour—but I’m fine with it. I will be in attendance again the next time Ruben brings this show to my city.

Three years late with this review (ha ha) but this was a great show. Been a fan of Ruben since American Idol. Good entertainer. My only complaint is the show is a bit short.

Amazing! Ruben never fails to deliver and having Lalah Hathaway was a huge bonus! The girl sang her heart out!
