ROUGH PEONY

Siamo una band Alt / Rock con sede a Roma. Il progetto è iniziato nel 2012 per condividere le proprie idee e gusti musicali. In poco tempo abbiamo creato dei primi brani, con un sound anni 90 "grunge", ben miscelato con un tocco di gusto di modernità. Nonostante la chiara identità della band, alcuni elementi nella nostra musica ricordano le più grandi band della famiglia "grunge" del passato (Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden), ma con ancora più collegamenti al suono rock moderno come Foo Fighters , Biffy Clyro, Arcane Roots, QOTSA. ... ROUGH PEONY is an Alt/Rock band based in Rome (IT) and founded in late 2012, when the guitarist Edward Hereg and the drummer Valerio Raucci decided to share their ideas as well as their skills and energies to start up a project well representing their own musical tastes and influences. In a few time, the very first songs from the Rough Peony saw the light, showing a well mixed "grungie" modern rock with a touch of metal taste, a solid groove and deep, emotional vocal lines.
