About ROSCOE JAMES IRWIN
Melbourne’s own Roscoe James Irwin, continues to deliver his own quirky style of folky pop songs and beautiful lyrical storytelling. In the last year Irwin’s debut album The Hunting Road has earned him local and international recognition. Winning over audiences in headline performances, as well as in support of his longtime music family, Harry James Angus and Tinpan Orange. The first album single “1000 Nights” has been nominated in the 11th IMA’s (International Independent Music Awards). Irwin is also proud to have contributed his song “Pass the Time” to The Cat Empire compilation for Tunes for Change. Irwin has spent the best part of the last 6 months writing and recording in the studio with producer John Castle (Washington/The Bamboos) working on his next release.
