Room Full Of Owls

Alston based band, Room Full Of Owls have been playing their well-received folky, alternative rock across UK venues since October 2008. In this time the band have obtained prestigious support slots with up-and-coming luminaries, such as the Joy Formidable and the Airborne Toxic Event as well as playing many of Cumbria's top festivals, including their triumphant, memorable set on Solfest's drystone stage in 2009. Members of the band include bassist Jan Cardy, drummer Steve Orchiton, Lead guitarist Tom Macmillan, Fiddle player Robin Moody, percussionist John Lambeth and vocalist Fiona Clayton. The band are in the process of recording a self-released mini-album, which they will be looking to promote across the festival circuit in 2012.
