Jayse is an up-and-coming bachata artist from New York City. Born Juan Lopez, to parents from the Dominican Republic, he grew up in a musical family. Being raised around Latin music, it became a passion of his early on. At 15, Jayse wrote and recorded his first song, a Reggaeton collaboration. Since then he’s been writing his own music, uniquely blending his urban upbringing and Latin culture, leading to his debut single “Un Trago.” Today, Jayse is hard at work to create new music for his fans. Aside from his Bachata album, he is continuously writing and recording new Merengue, Salsa, Pop, and R&B songs in both English and Spanish.
