Raps Moran

Raps Moran is four-piece independent rock group based out of Atlanta. The gang consists of lead vocalist Elizabeth Raps (Raps), bassist Matthew Frisina (Mattt), guitarist Rick Rackley (Rick the Ripper), and drummer Liam Aguilar (we just call him Liam). Starting out as a solo project for Raps, Raps Moran has transformed into an energetic musical force with undeniable groove. Between the four musicians, the pool of influences is far too deep to surmise - however, Atlanta's musical brat pack has reminded many of its listeners of acts such as Foster the People, Radiohead, and Angel Olson. Each and every Raps Moran song is both distinct and accessible, a feat not easily achieved. Raps' vocal style is soulful and distinct (and at times kind of strange), and the lyrical content is consistently crafted with care (it's all in the wording of things!). This coupled with the funk and musicianship the boys bring to the band crafts some pretty interesting tunes. Whether you catch them live or during your radio-accompanied commute, one thing is for sure - you're going to hear from Raps Moran.
