Rally Root

Rally Root is a solo musical project that I, Mitchell Kilpatrick, created in 2016. When strangers ask the inevitable question, "what kind of music do you play?" I like to reply by saying, "It is a one-two punch of Celtic instrumentals and catchy pop vocal melodies." I am based out of Nashville, TN and frequently tour around the Midwest and Southeast. The name Rally Root was inspired by the roots of the aspen tree, which grow together to make a single organism that spreads for miles. The connection at the roots allows these trees to survive disease, drought, and even forest fire! This connection represents my understanding that alone I will surely fail, but together we can make something meaningful that is much bigger than any one person.
