About Pushed Too Far
It all started in summer 2003 with Bert and Laurens on vocals, Roel on bass, Joey on guitar, and Kris on drums. Some songs got written but things didn’t move on. After a while, Joey left the band because he didn’t feel happy with the musical directions PTF was heading to. After some looking around, Derwin was the best man to fill the empty spot.
For some time, things went right, writing some more songs. When Laurens decided to quit the band, they just move on with the 4 remaining members. This line-up did his first show in summer 2004. However in time, Derwin became less motivated, at least in comparison with the raising ambitions and expectations of the other band members, so the decision was made to part ways with him. At the same time, Jefcb, sick of watching home and away at home, approached the band, and soon this monster pact was a fact. Chemistry happened.
That summer they wrote a lot of songs and took up their first demo tape/cd. In October some months later, they did a release show. Things followed each other in a fast way. Lots of shows, interviews. This brought the band to record first a mini and some time after that, a full.
After the latest recordings, they felt like having some more force onstage. Bart (Area51, Lost in Rhone) joined us on 2nd guitar as reinforcement. But after less than a year he decides to leave us. Nicho from JU is joining us! In the end of 2007 Roel calls it quits, we found a new member in Gert and he is now playing the bass with us! Watch out for our new full cd, FOOLS NEVER MOVE ON! Release 22 March 2008!
