PSYCHO SURFERS

PSYCHO SURFERS ovvero la prima e unica Surf Band della Romagna! La band nasce nel gennaio del 2001 da un idea del Gardo (grande appassionato da sempre di surf music, genere che ha influenzato da subito il suo modo di suonare la chitarra) che coinvolge gli amici Bicio e Clod (basso e batteria) in questo progetto: the Psycho Surfers. I concerti che ne seguono in quell’estate hanno un ottimo successo, ma per mancanza di tempo causa impegni con altre band negli anni a venire le esibizioni dal vivo sono rare. Nell'estate 2008 i 3 decidono di dedicarsi alla band a tempo pieno: Psycho Surfers are back, they're here to stay! Tra i numerosi concerti da segnalare nel 2009, 2011 e 2013 la partecipazione al Surfer Joe Summer Festival a Livorno, il più importante festival di surf music in Europa. Negli ultimi anni hanno l’onore di dividere il palco coi Neanderthals, Los Straitjackets, con uno dei loro idoli da sempre, John Blair (il fondatore e leader di Jon & the Nightriders) e con Paul Johnson (dei Belairs), uno dei padri fondatori della surf music. Nel 2014 sono la prima surf band chiamata a partecipare allo spettacolare R'n'R festival Good Rockin' Tonight in Francia! Nell'Agosto 2014 Clod lascia la band dopo tanti anni e il suo posto viene preso da Samu. Grazie di tutto Clod! Benvenuto a bordo Samu El Loco! The band was founded in January 2001 by Gardo's idea (who plays and listen to surf music since he was 15). After 7 years of occasional shows in 2008 they come back full time! In 2009, 2011 and 2013 Psycho Surfers play in the greatest surf music contest in Europe: Surfer Joe Summer Festival. In the latest years they have the honor to be in the same stage with the Neanderthals, Los Straitjackets, with one of their idols, John Blair (the founder and leader of Jon & the Nightriders) and Paul Johnson (Belairs), one of the inventors of surf sound. In 2014 they proudly are the first surf band to play at Good Rockin' Tonight Festival in France! In August 2014 Clod leave the band and he's replaced by Samu, another great friend!
