Psychiatric Regurgitation

Psychiatric Regurgitation initially started out as a one man project orchestrated by Dylan Crouch and was originally intended to only be a grindcore side project. From 2000 to 2007 the project was slow paced and released only one demo with very few shows performed. In 2007, Dylan made the project a full time band and released a split CD with the band SEMEN ACROSS LIPS. One year later, the band released their first full length album "Vaginal Fluid: The sweet taste of revenge" which served as a brutal death grind drum machine album heavily influenced by Agoraphobic Nosebleed and Anal Blast. The band continued on by adding various members over the next few years and toured the east coast with Wrought of Obsidian, in support of the album. In 2009, the band begin writing for their next full length album but progress in the studio proved to be slow paced with the lack of time and funds. 3 years later, in 2012, the 2nd album saw the light of day. "Stabbed in the eyes with a crack pipe", the bands sophomore effort, was finally released. The album took on many experimental changes in the sound moving more towards a forward death metal style fused with melodic and atmospheric influences. After touring with a full line-up, the band once again, became narrowed down to just a one man project and the drum machine was added back into the roster, but a new addition of ANITKYTHERA/NIGHTFIRE bassist Dave Spencer joined as 2nd guitarist to fully flesh out the guitar sound and further push the boundaries of their style. The band is currently touring Europe with BLOODSOAKED, and will be touring America with DEFEATED SANITY this Summer. The 3rd album entitled "To walk the path of vomit" will be released before the year is over. Blackened Death Metal from North Dallas.
