About Priorities

Brought together in early 2011 thanks to “relentless partying” and driven by youthful passion, the quintet craft melody-soaked, summer-pool-party jams are infectious and fun. The East Lansing band brings a blend of genres together mixing progressive pop-punk and easycore resulting in a refreshing yet familiar new sound. Winner of the 2012 Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands contest in Detroit and featured in Alt Press’s APR Section, the small town band has left an impact throughout the punk music scene. Priorities has kept local music thriving in mid-Michigan having recorded their EP, “I Need A Direction” in 2011 at Feverbell Recording in Grand Rapids and opening for many large acts including A Loss for Words, Transit, Forever Came Calling, and Such Gold. The band recently finished their debut full length album “Blind Ages, Stellar Centuries” also at Feverbell Recording marking a new chapter for the band. Influenced by nostalgia, powered by King Cobra 40oz; expect 2013 to be a big year for passionate music listeners. "Blind Ages, Stellar Centuries" Now available on Itunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/blind-ages-stellar-centuries/id680763538
