Four instruments, two musicians, unique sound - that's Polyphone!
With Vocals, Guitar, Synthesizer, E-Piano, and Drums are Marcus and Simon developing their idea of good indie-pop since summer 2012. The sound that's been created in their rehearsing room in Igis Switzerland reminds us of a mix between "Two Door Cinema Club" and "Blink 182". Polyphone released two singles “Planetplay” and “Manchester” and is counted in the Emergenza Artistpool. This year they launched their new EP coming out on Christmas 2014 with their new Single “Apprenticeshipyear”.
The live performance of Polyphone is a stunner. They're creating with lots of multi tasking, a looper, and self-made playbacks such power like a band twice as big!

Kunstvoll übereinandergeschichtete Synthesizer und Gitarren, animierende Beats und luftige Gesänge. Das Electropopduo Polyphone weiss, wie einzelne Elemente kombiniert werden müssen, um gehörig Bewegung in den Haushalt der Glückshormone zu bringen.
Auf der Bühne bewaffnet mit Gesang, Gitarre, Synthesizer, E-Piano, Schlagzeug, Playback und Loop Pedal zeigen Polyphone eine Performance, wie man sie nur einer doppelt so grossen Band zutrauen würde. Ihre neue 4-Track-EP Twice As Loud trägt ihren Titel also alles andere als zu Unrecht. Marcus Petendi und Simon Steiner klingen darauf unwiderstehlich nach Band und kreieren mit ihrer Musik ein nur schwer zu unterdrückendes Bedürfnis nach wilden Tanzbewegungen und explosiven Glücksausbrüchen.
