Polyphia

Rocked it! Me and a buddy went to check out Polyphia at the Ritz and it was an amazing show. DOMi and JD BECK were the opening group and they were awesome. Being on the standing floor was good. The venue handed out complimentary waters for anyone who needed them. Overall a really good experience from the venue and the groups that played. Outside the venue, they did scan tickets and provide wrist bands before doors opened to allow a quicker entry. Only drawback was if a bag was too large, you’d have to take it back to your vehicle, so make sure to travel lightly.

Polyphia show at the Roadrunner | Boston, MA. Best show of the year so far. The music was top notch. The room was entranced in each song. Even the mosh pit paused from time to time to reflect in just how awesome the musical experience was. The only regret was the artists they recorded with were not able to attend the show and lend a legitimate voice to the listeners. And then there was the light show. Rain trickled down the cage surrounding the drummer. Fog floated across the stage whipping around as the performers moved with the music. Fire shot up the same cage. Green lines of mtge matrix split the screen for a second. It was a mesmerizing view that competed with the music for the viewers attention often times falling just short of their musical Mastery. And they accomplished it all without saying a single syllable. A complete masterpiece without speaking. Thank you Road Runner. Thank you fans. And thank you Polyphia.

Loved their set and the vibes! Thought it was so interesting/unique to just see them rip and transition through songs in the set without talking to the crowd in between songs like vocalists would, though there was still some occasional nonverbal interaction between the band and the crowd. Roadrunner is also a really cool, modern, industrial venue. We found a great view of the stage with just GA floor tickets.

At seventy five years old, I was probably about the oldest person in the room. In my life I've seen a good many of the 'Guitar Gods' including Hendrix, Eddie VH, John Mahavishnu McLaughlin, Clapton in Cream, Michael Bloomfield with Dylan, Jeff Beck, Skunk Baxter, and others. As a fan for the last year or so, I wanted to see these guys in person and they did not disappoint. They were great technically and stage performance wise, total masters of their craft. Polyphia is pushing the envelope of R&R and I dig it. The future is in good hands!

The concert was FUN and the upgraded lighting effects were hella sick!!! Looked like slow-motion flying embers. Really enjoyed my 10th Polyphia concert! The only reason for the mid-rating was the venue. The Warfield was HOT HOT HOT!!! ZERO AIRFLOW. You would think that the amount of money generated at this venue, that they would consider turning on the air conditioner or something. It was hot as balls! I showered before the show, and I had to shower again when I got home. Incredibly uncomfortable and sweaty. Wish Polyphia would perform again at The Cornerstone in Berkeley instead where it's cleaner, safer, and cooler. Almost all the venues in SF are riddled with human feces on the sidewalks, including dirty needles, and homeless/shady people lurking around. Don't entertain dirty venues where the staff/owners don't care about the well-being of performers or fans Also, Domi and JD Beck were okay as a whole. Domi was amazing at the piano. Very very talented girl. JD was okay. His playing was kinda disorganized and random. Overall, their music sounded like Charlie Brown music on steroids. Not my taste in music AT ALL.

Nice main consert and very help ful staff, but the opening band to polyphia was not that good and played forever. Polyphia was awesome 💗 Would also like to have more info on when it started. 7 pm was not when they started to play, and I could not easily find any info on it. If it says 7 pm on a musical ticket, it starts at 7 pm, not 9 pm

Phenomenal show; truly amazing band. The world-class rhythm section is otherworldly. Clay Aeschliman plays with the precision of a drum machine and the soul of a human. You just keep asking yourself, “How does he do it?” Clay Gober blends metal, hip hop, and R&B sensibilities into a fully modern, fully unique, beautifully toned, and loud AF bottom end. Enough has been written about the impossibly melodic and technically dazzling guitar duo of Scottie and Tim. Now you must simply hear it for yourself. I have no words. You have the enigmatic artist, Tim Henson whose minimalistic stage presence is magnetic, powerful, and dripping with joy. And then there is the explosive Scottie LePage. A force on stage, Scottie is approachable, engaging, and hilarious. Under his spell, you, too, might find yourself crowd-surfing or ricocheting the gauntlet of the wall of death. Don’t miss a chance to see this one-of-a-kind show.

You guys are the best!!! I love your music!!! You made it a phenomenal show!!! I really enjoyed the time spent at your show because of you guys, I have been looking forward to it, you guys couldn't come any sooner, thank you so much, I f***ing love you! YOU GUYS ROCK! I hope I see you guys again, I definitely hope to go up front closer next time through a VIP or something if you come around to a place I can go to again! This guy's head was in front of me on my phone's video taping your show for my fond memory of the evening of seeing you guys, that's one thing I feel sad about because another fan's head kind of covered the view of Tim Henson off and on, but I managed to stretch my arm to catch the whole stage, I've never been to Roxian Theatre before so I wasn't familiar with how it worked there either! You guys delivered an absolutely wonderful show!!! It was my first show with you guys, and hopefully to many more in the future!!! I loved when Scottie said "me too" and when he toasted his drink to us, I thought oh man I wish I had a drink to toast it right back, I was looking around like I wish I got one, same here!!! Thank you guys for creating a lot of beautiful moments, I'll never forget it! You made my year and my birthday month of April too! Thank you for putting a smile on my face! You guys are awesome! This venue is awesome. Sound was great and the venue was very clean. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Food was amazing and the drinks came quick. Polyphia was simply the best. Words cannot describe how amazing they sound live. The guitar playing lifts you off into another dimension while the rhythm section punches you in the chest. Unprocessed was the biggest surprise of the night. They kicked the night off right. They played so hard I thought the bass player was going to rip the neck off his bass guitar. I highly recommend the venue both bands and rock and roll.

Excellent sold-out show!!! All four members of the band are phenomenal at their craft. The timing between them was flawless. Simply incredible with all the tempo changes and complex song structure. Their solo work and dual playing were off the charts. The multiple encores were a sweet bonus as well. For a live show to sound on par with a studio recording, is quite impressive and rare. If they tour near you, do not want to miss the opportunity to see them.

Goddamn gorgeous, bass-booming, and raging! Moshed up with crowd-surfing, a sexdoll, and a wall of death! Every member was in their element, while at the legendary Fonda Theater. So blessed to see them live with their new technical songs, Playing God and Neurotica. To see them all work together is a mastery. A heavy encore, that rewarded us with three just downright dirty tracks. Tim Henson and Scott Lepage have this godly hair that I'm quite positive make the world a better place. Clay Gober and Clay Aeschliman, I see them, hear them, and I'm sure I love them!

unreal. they were so clean and in their pocket. the entire building was shaking from people stomping and shouting for an encore (for at least a few straight minutes) before they ripped the most epic encore i’ve ever seen. every single person was tuned into them and fully feeling it. their talent is so clear and i feel privileged to have experienced it in person!!!! never been happier about a sore neck and bruised legs. my friend did get felt up by a dude multiple times so if the band had a talk about accountability and treating women right before the show i think that would be really cool, especially because of the ratio of men to women. it can feel unsafe (the pit is like the safest place to be believe it or not). this is a thing for the industry as a whole rn tho, and isn’t just polyphia who should be having more of these talks. i love them and love this venue and can’t wait to see them again.

I loved every second of it!! This is by far my favorite band ever and I can’t even express how cool it was to see them live!! I was so sad when it was over bc I knew that one of the best nights of my life was over, but now i’m closer to when I can see them again!! <3

The venue had a good amount of room and great ventilation. The opening act was good but still needs a few tweaks to their show to be truly great. Polyphia have continued to improve their live show each time I've seen them. This was no acceptation. The only thing I found missing was the throngs of people surfing across the crowd. It was much more subdued from other shows. Overall it was a great set and I can't wait for the next show, these guys are simply amazing.

I've been a fan of polyphia for a while and seeing them in person at a show was absolutely mind-blowing and the enviroment is awesome with everyone getting hype over riffs we have all listened to and loved. Seeing unprocessed was also amazing and David levy signed my shirt after the show and was so nice. Overall seeing some of my idols in show and seeing their passion and skill for their art in person was stupifying in the best way possible. Also shout-out to the person who ran the merch table for both bands who were so nice and answered my questions.

These guys are super dope! Prof metal … math rock… call it what you want. They got my 56 year old ass to jump and yell and my 16 year old guitar hero to exclaim “best show ever”! We both got into them at the beginning of Covid. Got to meet them before the show at the meet and greet. These guys appear to where honesty on their sleeves and are super chill.

The show was amazing, Polyphia put on a great show, they're interaction with the crowd was energy fueling, I loved it. I also had VIP, that experience was fantastic, very cool guys. Another Day Dawns was added on tour last minute so it wasn't posted here they would be playing, I never heard of them before and I would like to say they put on a very good performance, worth looking into. Sleep token was pretty good, definitely a interesting performance with their masks and how they acted on stage. I didn't stick around the stage for ISSUES, but from what little I saw and heard I enjoyed. 10/10 for polyphia 🤘

I have been going to at least 2 live concerts every month for the past 16 years. The bar for excellence is set pretty high. Polyphia greatly exceeded my expectations, delivering some of the tastiest grooves I've ever heard. I enjoy their music and listen to it fairly often but that doesnt even come close to the impressive live concert experience. I can't wait to see Polyphia live again!

Being the only guy with a mic for between song banter, Clay was a great host! The fellas were on point performance-wise. They called people up on stage about midway through their set. Definitely awesome as you don't see too much of that these days! Kinda weird seeing a pit with this style of music [I usually catch bands such as Down, LoG, CoC, Mastodon, Primus, Gojira, Children of Bodom, etc], but as long as they're having fun and helping each other up [ya know, proper fucking pit etiquette] that "heavy only=mosh" convention doesn't really hold weight anymore. Covet was a fantastic opener! Though, I thought they deserved the 2nd slot over Hail The Sun, but that's mainly because HTS aren't a style I seek out. That being said, they gave a quality performance as well. Overall: 9.5/10 Will definitely see them next time around! So fucking come back to Seattle!

Polyphia kicked ass but their mix was kinda off so only one side of the room got the guitars. Saves the day was.... meh. Coheed put on a great show and far exceeded my expectations! They came back out and played like 3 more songs too. The only thing that could make the show better way if saves the day was either the opening act or just swapped out for something else. Musically speaking they just aren't in the same league.
