Peri

PERI frontwoman Lisa Pedrick has long been a leading name on the Welsh-Language music scene, but she wanted a vehicle for the songs she was writing in English, and this is it! Band members include guitarist Luke Evans, bassist Shaun Pursey, Nathan Jones on Keys and drummer Martin Liles, with a little help from Mr Pedrick on brass! The new line-up have been together for nearly 2 years, and in that short time have had great success, which includes performing on the main stage at the Pontardawe Music Festival, appearing on S4C’s ‘Mentro’, winning Varsity Battle of the Bands and reaching the regional final of Surface Festival Respected musicians Steve Balsamo, Henry Priestman and Cerys Matthews have contributed to PERI’s repertoire and the band are currently busy writing and recording more material to add to their collection. The musicians come from various musical backgrounds ranging from Jazz and Blues to Alternative Progressive Rock, which results in catchy Pop/Rock tunes with a quirky edge.
