People Making Noises

People Making Noises formed in 2011 after playing in various bands together in the past; a few best mates from Jarrow who share a mutual interest in making experimental music. PMN have grown to present a fresh take on Instrumental/Post-Rock with a revitalised energy.

Since PMN released their debut album through Rocking Horse Recordings in 2015 they have built up a dedicated following of Post-Rock fans a-like. Self-released their first EP titled 'We Set Sail' in January 2017, both releases have received positive attention from local blogs, magazines and received frequent radio play on BBC Radio Newcastle, Spark FM and NE1FM.

We Set Sail is "A tune that abounds with vim and vigour, gradually building from a sense of yearning to really casting the ropes off and discovering new horizons. No lyrics, but as lyrical as they come, it fizzes into a quite glorious, sun-breaking through the clouds close" - The Crack
