He officially started doing Music when he was only 15 years old. OverTyme started focusing on music more last year, 2012. He realized when he was 21 years old that he wanted to do Music for the rest of his life. OverTyme is not affiliated with any groups. Side by side with Kurtis Blow, and DC’s own Junk Yard Band at the Marion Barry Family Day event, Featured artist at The Zanzibar on the waterfront for the Diamond Excel Magazine Youth talent show. Over Tyme was show cased at the Hogates on the waterfront with R&B recording artist Raheem De’Vaughn, Jamil Face Johnson of el’eon Entertainment and Kurtis Blow fund raiser for cancer victims.
