One Flew Over

One Flew Over was founded in the summer of 2010 in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The members of the band include Donna Missal (Vocals), Michael Lieberman (Drums), Peter Burt (Bass), and Austin Leo (Guitar). The sound of One Flew Over reflects their love of Rock, blended with a modern electronic Indie sound. Their diverse roots in Soul, Hip-hop, and Reggae music add depth felt in the bands song writing. They are introducing themselves to the music scene with their debut EP, “Up and Out”, and are in the process of releasing a full length studio album recorded with Richard Taylor of Studio3NJ. It all started in early 2010. Long time friends Peter Burt and Austin Leo had completed production work on a Hip-Hop album and decided it was time to return to their roots… live music. They quickly teamed up with Michael Lieberman and began writing material. After auditioning singers in the summer of 2010, the lineup was finally solidified with Donna Missal as lead vocalist. From an early age Donna was involved in music. After completing her studies in Theater and Performing Arts, Donna knew she wanted to be in a Rock band. After a chance audition everything fell into place. All it took was one rehearsal together and it was the beginning of One Flew Over.
