The band came together at the bootcamp stage of The X Factor 2010 and made it all the way to the final before finishing 3rd behind Rebecca Ferguson and the eventual winner Matt Cardle. 1D are embarking on their first arena tour with The X Factor Live Tour which sees them performing to over 500,000 people up and down the country.
