There is nothing more exciting than discovering a rare band whose music is truly unique and inspiring for the listener. Offering Of Dust has accomplished the daunting task of becoming that band.

Without conforming to any specific genre, Offering Of Dust composes a refreshing blend of intense rhythms and animated melodies that captivate the listener. The unexpected, yet addictive and oddly therapeutic, arrangements are identical to a musical adventure that provides an emotional journey full of depth and textures only limited to the imagination of the listener.

This inventive sound is matched by a solid level of execution with impressive dexterity and virtuosity from each member: Dread (guitar), Max (bass), Jesse (drums), and B. Cakes (vocals). Offering Of Dust’s live presentation is as unique as its signature sound and has illuminated audiences, earning the band a horde of loyal fans, which they refer to as “citizens.”

Offering Of Dust’s debut release, “Spiral Apparitions and Spherical Anomalies,” was eagerly accepted by fans upon its release in December 2015. Self-financed and self-produced, the EP was released online in a variety of digital formats and gained the band an international online following that’s eager for more.

Following their debut release, Offering Of Dust celebrated a successful 2016 and 2017, joining for several national acts on tour, including Trivium, Fallujah, Terraform, Thoughtpilot and By The Thousands, as well as numerous regional and local bands across multiple cities along the Rocky Mountains. While their entertaining live performances earn new fans, their always professional demeanor has earned them the respect of promoters, venue owners and staff, as well as admiration from their peers, thus proving Offering Of Dust is a first-class act on and off the stage.

After a productive cycle supporting “Spiral Apparitions and Spherical Anomalies,” Offering Of Dust’s ever growing fan base has demanded new material. So in the late fall of 2016, the members again entered the studio not only to compose the music for their next release but to provide their “citizens” with more content. The band announced plans to release a series of playthough and lyric videos, along with an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at the creative process of their highly-anticipated second release.

At the start of 2017, the band announced the departure of 2nd guitarist Tom. The announcement was done in true Offering Of Dust form while also stating they will continue on as a four-piece, at least temporarily. Not letting this announcement dampen their spirit or outlook for a fruitful year, the band has started to build hype over their upcoming content. Major details have yet to be announced; however, a social media post gives a cryptic message on what many fans assume is the concept of the next release: "Imagine watching the past crumble into the basis of a beautiful future, as perceived by a being traveling through time and space at the speed of light."


One thing is for certain: expect the next release from Offering Of Dust to be an expressive and emotional experience for the listener full of tremendous musical arrangements that highlight the band’s signature sound with reflections of the maturity gained over the last few years.
