About Occupy The Disco
Occupy The Disco (OXD) is the New York-based DJ collective of Tad Haes, DJ RuBot, and Josh Appelbaum. What started out as a casual experiment by three friends to introduce undergound electronic music back onto the queer dance floor soon turned into curation and experimentation behind the decks. A shared love for queer nightlife’s musical legacy drives them to not only cherish the past but embrace the future. Three queens in NYC who love disco, techno and everything in between.
