Obire Mortem is a death metal band that hails from Mexico. Formed In 2005. Actually is recording your full-length "Aequilibrium", this stuff have incorporated brutal and technical styles. In 2009 the band released a EP entitled "Ephemeral". The music is melodic, but agressive, with growls male and operatic female vocals. The atmosphere have also lots of keyboards performances that is more like in the Gothic style. Obire Mortem mean to meet death, "find / find death". Crossroads of words that frame the lyrical themes: The death, a mere matter of course on the man as organic matter, but also idealistic glorification which gives "meaning" to life. Obire Mortem son latinismos que significan: “hallar /encontrar la muerte”. Encrucijada de palabras que enmarcan la temática de la banda: La muerte, un mero hecho natural, relativo al hombre como materia orgánica, pero también glorificación idealista que da "significado" a la vida. La música que propone la banda podría definirse como Death metal melódico pero sería sólo para catalogarlo porque en las composiciones convergen diversas influencias musicales.
