About Noelle Christina Chiodo

“My heart was beating, my palms were sweating, and I could feel the warmth of the spotlight shining on me. I’ll never forget this moment, my first solo, when I sang “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” with a community kids singing group. I closed my eyes for a moment, took a deep breathe, and the words and notes just started flowing. At that moment, I felt like I was soaring over the audience. At that moment I felt my purpose, I was 8 years old. It was euphoric.” - (Noelle Chiodo)

A couple years later and NOELLE CHRISTINA CHIODO started begging her parents for piano lessons. As she learned more about music, she was falling deeper in love with it. She began joining anything and everything she could to sing in front of an audience. From various choir groups and church praise bands to school musicals and community theatre. By the age of 14, she started singing at as many local festivals as she could sign up for, then landed her first gig at Sambalatte Café, and continued to perform there on and off through out the years.

But, there’s more to Noelle than singing. She is a singer/ songwriter/ musician with a passion to entertain. She began songwriting at the age of 13. Noelle says, “songwriting was my go to when I was stressed or had a lot going on. It was an outlet and a way of expression, I would write my feelings into song.” At 16, she felt something was missing in her music, she was studying classical piano and felt it was time to take her craft a step further. On Christmas morning her grandparents surprised her with her first guitar. She would spend countless hours teaching herself how to play. "Songwriting was a really important factor in my life that helped me really find who I am as an artist. I want my music to tell a story and be able to reach to people and influence or impact their lives. To me, that's what songwriting is all about," says Noelle.

Noelle describes her style as the place “WHERE POP MEETS SOUL”. She has been influenced by artists such as Joss Stone, Alicia Keys, Tori Kelly, Etta James, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Jessie J, Taylor Swift, and most importantly, the one and only, Christina Aguilera.

Now at 18 years old, Noelle’s purpose hasn’t changed from when she was just a little girl on a big stage, singing “Somewhere Over The Rainbow”. Being Senior class President, an Honors student, and highly involved in high school; Noelle was offered various scholarships to colleges and universities through out the country, not only as a music major, but also a business major. Noelle Christina Chiodo, singer/songwriter/musician, has chosen to stay right here in her beautiful home town of Las Vegas, which she feels is the best place to be in the country to put her art into action while she’s studying business and music production at UNLV Honors College. She is learning, applying it to her music, and putting it into action NOW. “Las Vegas is my backyard and there is so much opportunity out here as an artist. Everyday this city’s live music industry is growing bigger and bigger. There is no better place to start and ‘there’s no place like home’ and ‘somewhere over this rainbow’ I’m going to make my dreams come true.”
