About Neutron Sound
Neutron Sound's love affair with music started in 1998 when he heard the car radio for the first time. Since then, he developed a fascination with music and its anatomy. At a summer music camp, his cabin mates nicknamed him "Neutron," due to his vast, encyclopedic memory and big hair. He later added the surname "Sound" as a tribute to Atlas Sound (Bradford Cox's solo project).
In 2011, he formed the short-lived band The Blue Lights, which included jazz singer Thea Rose and future Matt Jaffe drummer Alex Coltharp. In 2013, he began his studies at Berklee College of Music, where he met Matthew Azrieli, whose band he currently plays in.
