Rising singer-songwriter Nakala spins a compelling personal narrative on every track that her honeyed voice graces. Nakala often writes about her relationship experiences and takes pride in being part of the LGBTQ community, other artists such as Young M.A, Tash Sultana and Tiffany Gooch have inspired her as a musician. Dreamy synth-work and tight drums are her forté, with her signature amorous vibe setting her at the forefront of contemporary R&B. Taking influence from likes of Ne-Yo and Usher, Nakala has turned heads and caught ears across the musical spectrum, with her affinity and passion garnering the support from the likes of BBC Radio 1xtra and tastemaker heavyweights Majestic Casual who released standout track Do It Right.
