Mr. Frey

Giuseppe De Salvatore in arte Mr. Frey nasce a Lipari il 29 Agosto 1983 e già in giovane età si avvicina al
mondo della musica o ancora meglio del deejeeing grazie anche al padre che gli regala la prima consolle
con cui cimentarsi con degli scintillanti piatti technics.
A 16 anni gli si aprono le porte del Turmalin dove inizia a condividere la consolle con altri djs locali e ad
occuparsi della cura delle strumentazioni del locale. La passione cresce sempre piu e sperimenta nuovi
suoni ed apparecchiature ma il vinile dei suoi esordi con l’house music gli rimangono sempre nel cuore.
Appena puo’ scappa dall’isola per correre nei grandi club internazionali come i Cocco di Rimini o l’Amnesia e
Privilege di Ibiza, si contronta, chiacchera e respira musica con molti deejays ed addetti ai lavori. Inizia a
collaborare con uno studio ed etichetta indipendente siciliana in qualitò di selezionatore musicale ed ogni
tanto sfida il fratello Andy che lo tampina per carpire tecniche e segreti. Il Turmalin Club rimane sempre la
sua “casa” ma gironzola con successo anche nei migliori club palermitani e catanesi.

Giuseppe De Salvatore aka Mr. Frey was born in Lipari 29 August 1983 and from an early age approaches
the music or even better the deejeeing thanks to his father who gave him the first console
with which to grapple with the technics sparkling dishes.
