Mountain Rag

Fuzzy, heavy, and paying homage to the roots, Mountain Rag is the music of whiskey-soaked nights, and days spent aimlessly wandering desert roads under a painted Big Sky. Michael Presho (guitar), Nick Dettmer (drums), and Ryan Nelson (vocals/bass) met with music in mind, soon recording songs that begin to unearth the dark mythology of the American West — all with a bluesy undercurrent and driving primal force. The Austin-based trio honed their gritty sound through a slew of South Texas shows, and built a podcast following for the “dirty honesty” in their craft.
