Motion Ocean

If you’ve ever heard the sound of a ukulele and smiled, then you will love Motion Ocean. Formed in the summer of 2012 on the south shore of Long Island, NY, the band has garnered a reputation for warming people up on the coldest of winter days, brightening up even the darkest of nights, and instilling good vibes into their audiences. Ukulele player/singer Andrew Pinzon formed the band with the intention of emulating what the ukulele does best: play music that makes you feel good. Along with singer Stephanie Tolino, bassist Anthony Arma, and drummer Nick Pinzon, these thoughtful, inventive musicians defy the standards set by today’s guitar-laden radio waves, and create a sound all their own: A light, airy, happy, easy-to-listen-to sound that can only be achieved by playing the Excalibur of instruments, the instrument of peace, the ukulele.
