Motion in Color

Motion in Color is a newly emerging project based in the Central Arkansas area. It was formed in early 2013 picking up the pieces of former bands with Tanner Morris and Parker Rognrud. In a constantly evolving music scene, they are striving to bridge the gap between modern progressive, indie rock, and post-hardcore. Influenced strongly by well-known acts such as Circa Survive, The Mars Volta, Dance Gavin Dance, and H RV RD, they are creating music with a blend of heavily driven breaks, mixed meter, soft ambient melodies, and prominent vocal styles; meshing traditional and experimental instrumentation and playing style with a new approach to the aspect of music composition. Recently joined by Tyler Clark, former longtime drummer for the localized project 3-D Arcade, Jon Barrington, of Siversa and After the Tragedy, Cassey Maddox, formerly of the Legioneers, and Will Campbell, they are all working together to write and put out MIC's first release.
