Moriah Woods

​Moriah Woods is an American dark folk singer-songwriter currently living and creating in Poland since 2014. Moriah is a co-founder of the band The Feral Trees in 2015 releasing one LP and EP. 'The Road To Some Strange Forest' was released in 2016 as Moriah's first self titled studio release.
After the death of her father, due to alcoholism and depression, in 2017 Moriah began taking a more serious and deeper look into the affects that addictions and struggles with mental health had on her life and creative process. 'Old Boy' was released in September, 2019 in memory of her father and dedicated to those struggling with mental disorder, addiction and depression which she talks openly about as she herself has also struggled in similar ways. 'Old Boy' is a message that your story and your pain is unique but not uncommon or unresolvable. That we are not alone or alien in the sufferings of life and we must remember that we are in this together and the sufferings are part of the journey that lead us to a better understanding if we let it. Moriah and her band are currently on tour promoting the new album.
