Monkylo

MONKYLO (Anormale Music, Silk Group, MoNe) Monkylo is a Greek Dj and producer. He combines old and new elements of music in a unique way resulting in a fresh sound of House and Techno influences. Monkylo was mainly influenced from Four Tet, as well other artists such as Burial, Floating Points, Thomas Melchior, Baby Ford, Ricardo Villalobos, Wareika, Kalabrese and Kraftwerk. He had his own residency at the most well-known clubs in Athens like Dybbuk club privee, Animal Club, SIXX Athens and Mamacas club. He has performed alongside artists like Pan Pot, Alex Niggemann, Cezar Merveille, Robert Dietz, Mark Fanciulli, Martinez, Luca Bacchetti, Anthea, Pirupa, Francesco Del Garda, Adil Hiani, Luca M, Agent, Alexandar Kyosev and more Monkylo perfomed in Europe in places like London, Amsterdam, Nuremberg and Venice. In 2011 he created Anormale project. His exquisite passion for electronic music combined to his unique musical style made Anormale nights one of the most popular in Athenian electronic scene. Nowadays he joined the London based Silk group and the ReFil project. Through his residency at Silk group, Monkylo is a regular part of east London's uprising parties. The same time with Nerize they created MoNe, playing longhours dj sets at Astron, Senza and Skull(after-hours sets) in Athens.
