M O J A V E (Kim) is a Los Angeles-based DJ and music producer specializing in soulful deep house and driving techno, drawing inspiration from the beauty and decay of Southern California's Mojave Desert. A multi-instrumentalist with a foundation in classical, jazz and music theory, formal training in sound design and production, MOJAVE brings a sharp ear, unique skillset and open mind to the decks.

MOJAVE has performed at nightclubs and day parties throughout the U.S., from ExchangeLA to the Oregon mountains, sharing the stage with the likes of John Tejada, Sonny Fodera, Maxxi Soundsystem, Marc Kinchen, Coyu, Noir, Harvey McKay, Weiss, CamelPhat, Prok & Fitch, and DJ Funk. Internationally, thousands of listeners have been tuning into her residency on Barcelona City FM radio and guest mixes in the U.K., U.S. and Germany. She is a member of and social media coordinator for female:pressure, a Berlin-based collective advocating for women in electronic music. Influenced by her musical background and love for metal, post-rock, ambient, hardcore/punk, and new age/world music, MOJAVE delivers unique and genre-blurring house and techno compositions and DJ sets.

Her passion for discovering and sharing new music began as a child growing up in the Boston area, exploring her parents' vinyl collection and local record shops while learning classical instruments and theory. At 19, she moved to Los Angeles and New York to connect with like-minded artists and music lovers. Her love for house, techno, and the warm inclusiveness of these music scenes—the idea of the dance floor as a haven—inspired her to become a DJ herself and promote these values. As the sources for new music evolve, MOJAVE is always on top of it, exhilarated by selecting fresh, diverse, emotionally evocative tunes that elevate the energy of the room and keep audiences guessing.
