Michael Sweigard Band is a four-man alternative rock-group from Milton, Pa. Hailing from the heart of Pennsylvania, Mike Sweigard (lead vocals, guitar), Kyle Anspach (lead guitar, backing vocals), Jake Berge (bass, backing vocals) and Jared Dimmick (drums, backing vocals) have released their debut album - The Culprit EP - in late December of 2013. The three-track extended play features singles Life Is..., The Culprit, and Every Moment.

Mike Sweigard has produced a number of solo projects over the past decade, writing music since long before high-school with lead guitarist Kyle Anspach. It wasn't until spring of 2013 that both bassist Jake Berge and drummer Jared Dimmick climbed on board, and the group hit the ground running. Ever since, from benefit concerts to coffee shops, from music festivals to concert venues, Michael Sweigard Band hasn't passed up an opportunity to reach others with their music.

"Music has a way of conveying meaning that words alone are not capable of," says Sweigard. "It would be my hope that we would communicate not just truth, meaning, and purpose but also that none of us have finally arrived, yet," says Dimmick. The group is eager for the opportunity to share their music with each and everyone possible, and pray that both the messages and the melodies will inspire, uplift, and give hope to carry on.
