Matthew O'Donnell is a one-of-a-kind entertainer, singer, multi-instrumentalist and performer of traditional Celtic folk, American roots and popular music based in Central Virginia. A long time musician and on-stage performer, Matthew has entertained thousands since beginning his act in 2014, establishing himself as one of Central Virginia's premier live entertainers.

Matthew performs a high-energy blend of traditional Celtic music and modern foot-stomping neo-folk. Drinking songs, traditional folk tunes, sea shanties and singalong standards are given an updated 21st-century treatment evocative of Mumford & Sons and the Lumineers, while maintaining the traditional spirit of folk trailblazers like the Dubliners and the Clancy Brothers. Matthew's energetic presence, stylized singing and performing on traditional folk instruments such as the accordion, steel guitar, tenor banjo, fiddle, tin whistle and bodhran create a unique sound that feels right at home in the corner of the local pub and on a concert hall mainstage.
