About Marion Crane

Marion Crane hails from the murder capital of Florida, and has been cranking out devious rock n roll since 2009. Taking inspiration from a variety of sources, including but not limited to the grunge wave, the heavy crunch of Metallica riffs, the abrasive grinding of the industrial explosion, Alfred Hitchcock, Edgar Allan Poe, and horror movies - the band hopes to offer something unique to the listener. In addition to a dose of heavy rock n roll, the band also combines their music with film, releasing memorable music videos to accompany each release, as produced by Thomas Crane. In 2012, the band released their debut album The New Religion, and saw themselves opening for various national acts across the state of Florida (Sevendust, Framing Hanley, Filter, Fuel) as well as finding airplay at several college radio stations across America, and getting some spins from the likes of the Lex and Terry show as well as Bubba the Love Sponge. In 2014, the band went back into the studio again with producer Stan Martell to record a followup to their debut release. The EP, entitled "Rock Is Dead & I Know Where the Bodies Are Buried" was released in May of 2014 to listeners across the globe, representing a new, heavier direction for the band. The band embarked on a string of shows in support of the album and the various members also explored other musical projects in the mean time. As 2017 turned, the writing began for a new album. With recording underway, the band released a single entitled "Kill the Undead!", an up tempo, adrenaline enfused rocker influenced by the works of horror icon George Romero. The song acts as a blue print on how to survive the zombie apocalypse and signals the theatrical and horror inspired themes of the next album, which is slated for release sometime in 2018. "KILL THE UNDEAD!" - Available on July 4, 2017
