Drawing inspiration from folk and rock artists such as Neil Young, Nick Drake, Tom Petty, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, The Cure, Radiohead, JEsus and Marychain, Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine and many more Mad River's music weaves rootsy folk interludes with thundering dirgy grunge breaks and ethereal textures of feedback.
