Mad Traffic

Mad Traffic was formed in May of 2008 in sunny southern California. Lead singer Blaise Guld and drummer Dave Torr started the band in their livingroom with guitarist Brian Fleck. Blaise Garza, multi-instrumentalist, completed the lineup and brought the icing to the cake with his keys and sax. Mad Traffic has become more than just another project for us. It is the sum total of all of our creativity, dreams, and passion brought to life in the studio, or on the stage. We have been on a couple tours, Northern California was our first. The tour included San Francisco, Modesto and Patterson. It was singer, Blaise Guld's first time on tour with a band...ever! We believe that and our tour at SXSW 2012 in Austin, TX may have changed the way we looked at each other as people and as a band. The true test of friendship is being crammed into a van together with a bunch of musical equipment for a week straight. We grew closer because of it and learned a lot about ourselves and how to improve our music on stage. Now in 2013 we are coming up on our second EP release 'City'. Produced, mixed and engineered by Grammy-nominated Jay Henry. Looking forward to the springtime release then hopefully hitting the road again with some more touring. Also we have been recording brand new singles in a secret warehouse basement somewhere in the desert. Information is still classified at this time but expect to see new music popping up from Mad Traffic throughout the year. This bio will self-destruct...
