Luthea Salom

Singer/songwriter Luthea Salom is a respected member of the Spanish alternative music community where she has been considered the fairy of naïve indie pop due to her catchy evocative and cheerful melodies. Her music has been featured in many Spanish TV shows and online promotional campaigns by Dior, Oysho, Nespresso and shoe designer Chie Mihara. Her new album "The Little Things We Do" (Subterfuge Records, 2013) has earned critical praise and reached #1 on iTunes Alternative Spanish charts. Luthea was born in Barcelona to Catalan parents and spent her early childhood years in Canada. She grew up in an intellectual environment surrounded by books, sculptures and paintings where music was not part of the family passions. At 13 a friend lent her an acoustic guitar and she soon discovered the world of composition. On stage she likes to surround herself with multi-instrumentalist musicians in order to create that rich luminous and playful sonic space Luthea’s best known for.
