Los Carniceros del Norte

A finales del 2006, Txarly Usher, Nando Fausto y H. Zombie celebran una reunión secreta en el interior de una cámara frigorífica. La misión, crear un disco conceptual homenaje a su cine favorito, retomando la esencia de la frescura y lo directo como fuente de liberación. Así nacen Los Carniceros del Norte y su album “13 Cuchilladas”, en el cual se musicalizan clásicos del género del cine de terror como El Gabinete del Doctor Caligari, Nosferatu, El Resplandor, La Noche de los Muertos Vivientes... con obvias influencias musicales, donde confluyen Parálisis Permanente, The Damned, Dead Kennedys, Lords of the New Church, Sex Pistols… Después de pasear sus monstruos por los escenarios de toda España y parte de Europa, la convulsión visceral que se produce en cada uno de sus encuentros les lleva a seguir adelante en su misión, y despedazar un puñado de nuevos cadáveres en lo que se viene a llamar el “2º Acto”, que aparece editado en Working Class Records bajo el nombre de “13 Cuchilladas – 2º Acto” (’08), el primer album oficial de Los Carniceros del Norte. En 2009 dedicen rendir tributo a Edgar Allan Poe y concretamente a las adaptaciones cinematográficas de sus relatos por Roger Corman, y así ve la luz el EP “Poe is Dead”, con un sonido mucho más oscuro y totalmente distinto a todas las grabaciones anteriores, con influencias de Bahuaus, The Cure… este trabajo se distribuye unicamente en formato digital a través de Zorch Factory Records, y próximamente será editado en vinilo 10” por el sello mexicano Bambam Records. Y en 2010, deciden dar una nueva vuelta de tuerca a su sonido y la temática, que si bien sigue siendo cinematográfica, fiel a la idea original de la banda, esta vez trata exclusivamente de musicalizaciones de clásicos del cine de terror latino, con películas españolas, italianas, mexicanas… así hasta 13 nuevas cuchilladas que forman el próximo album de Los Carniceros del Norte “Santa Sangre” recién publicado por GOR Discos. This way there are born Los Carniceros del Norte and their album “13 Cuchilladas”, in wich they made their particular musicalization of classic horror films like The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, Nosferatu, The Shining, The Night of the Living Dead… with obvious musical influences like Parálisis Permanente, The Damned, Dead Kennedys, Lords of the New Church, Sex Pistols… After showing their monsters all around Spain and part of Europe, the visceral convulsions that take place in each of their meetings, leads them to continue their mission and tear into pieces a handful of new corpses under the name of "2º Acto", released at Working Class Records as "13 Cuchilladas - 2º Acto" ('08), the first official album of Los Carniceros del Norte. In 2009 they decided to pay tribute to Edgar Allan Poe and specifically to Roger Corman's film adaptations of his stories, and this way sees the light the EP "Poe is Dead", with a darker sound and totally different from the previous recordings, influenced by Bauhaus, The Cure... this work is distributed only in digital format through Zorch Factory Records, and it will be released soon on vinyl 10" by the mexican label Bambam Records. And in 2010, they dedice to transform again the sound and the concept of the band, although they keep making songs about movies, this time is exclusively about classic latin horror movies, from Spain, Italy, Mexico... up to 13 new stabs that will the new album of Los Carniceros del Norte "Santa Sangre" released now on GOR Discos.
