Lockjaw Smile

Originating in 2012, Massachusetts power trio Lockjaw Smile consists of Tony Thanos
(Guitar/Vox), Bill Douty (Bass/Vox), and Scott Flaherty (Drums). The lineup surely didn’t
come easy. Going through multiple changes and rotations with members, it wasn’t until
2016 that the band not only had the members locked in, but their brash, dirty, but radio
friendly sound was honed in as well. Releasing their debut EP Three headed Monster in
2017, the band quickly saw how well it was being received and began writing songs for a
full length as they continued to play shows in the greater Boston area. Bringing together
each of their many influences was key to designing a sound they have been perfecting for
the past year. Fusing aspects of bands like Foo Fighters, Stone Temple Pilots, Rancid, Stevie
Ray Vaughan, and Weezer is a staple to the Lockjaw Smile style. The self titled Lockjaw
Smile album is a testament to where they are at with their sound right now.
Lockjaw Smile will available for streaming and downloads on most major digital on July
13th and the band is currently planning their release show in Newburyport
Massachusetts for that day.
