Line Don't Cross

Line Don’t Cross is a do-it-all, no-bars-held metal band that is out to set the scene on fire. No matter where they go, one thing remains consistent: no two songs sound the same. Our sound features influences from nu-metal, heavy metal, metal core, and alternative rock with more to come. Since summer 2011, Huggins and Damion set out to experiment with new and unique sounds and styles. Kian and Tony finally joined in the fall of 2012. Over the years, Line Don’t Cross has shifted through drummers, but the core line up remains the same. However, due to an unexpected turn of events the role of permanent drummer was handed to Dandre Grosvenor after one audition in which he connected with the band on a musical and personal level finally filling in the hole that appeared to be unstable. With 16 years of musical experience he intends to take the bands already tight sound to the next level. After about a year of writing songs, the band was contacted by Westfall Recording Co. in Farmingdale, NY via Facebook. After hearing the singles on our band page, they offered us an opportunity to record an EP at a discounted price. After working hard and saving money, LDC hit the studio in early February 2014 where they recorded their debut EP (drums were tracked by engineer Anthony Lopardo; music produced by Ryan Hayes). Line Don’t Cross has perfomed across the NYC area including Battle of the Bands at The Studio at Webster Hall, thrilling audiences with their raw, eccentric and unpolished style and performance. So what does the future hold for a band like Line Don’t Cross? With our potential, we hope to see ourselves growing as musicians, becoming the performers we know we can be, and someday redefining the genre. Change is never expected or planned but after a long run as a founding member of the band Huggins Andre decided to part ways with the band leaving the remaining four members with nothing on their minds but rebirth! We are on a mission to take the world through a musical journey and bring people together.
