Lenny LaVida

Estonian DJ / Producer Lenny LaVida is probably the most requested remixer in this country. Lot of his productions are frequently played both in clubs and radios across Estonia. But of course he has made tracks and remixes to other markets and artistis - Marc van Linden (Germany), Wendy Robin (Domican Republic), William Naraine (Italy), Lauris Reiniks (Latvia) to name a few. In a local DJ Poll he positioned 3rd in year 2011, 11th in 2012 and 14th in 2013. Working hard to rise in new heights this year. Guy behind this project - Lauri was born on 14th of May 1985 and grew up in a home full of old vinyls. He got his first keyboard at the age of 8 and started producing more seriously somewhere before millenium. First steps were in more underground genres - gabber, speedcore, breakcore, jungle etc. But soon within a few years music became more mature and the style of production slowly moved into a more commercial direction. In 2004 Lauri joined tre.ee team with full package - label, management, studio, radio and event organizing. By then everything was mostly about hands up and trance, but by autumn 2009 Lauri took a new alias along his previous WhiteBwoy. Lenny LaVida was born and with this project he focuses on pop genre vocals with clubfloor sounds. Mostly electro house mixed with breakbeat, dutch house, swedish house, reggae and other genres. Lauri has performed in huge events in Estonia with more than 4000 people twice - 7th of July 2007 with Basshunter as the main act and 19-20th of July 2013 Saaremaa Rannapidu (translation: beach party) with many other European artists. There are also countless number of acts in Latvia and one event few years ago in Poland, club Ekwador. Lenny LaVida is mostly performing as a DJ, but in bigger festivals he also makes up to 1 hour live sets using Ableton with Launchpad and other MIDI controllers.
