LEGO LEPRICONS are a Post Rock/Space Rock band from Israel. http://legolepricons.com The Band was founded in 2011 by singer and musician Yair Ziv, keyboard player Shlomi Maya and band manager Leo Yaish. Shlomi Maya was playing with most of the lead musicians and singers in the Israel music industry (Hemi Rudner, Yirmi Kaplan, Shiri Maimon and many more), today Shlomi is also working with the producer and the musician Haim Zinovich who produced and composed music to the most popular TV series in the world, such as: The Sopranos, Sex and The City, ER, Felicity and more. Yair Ziv’s career was formally launched in 2004 with the release of the single "Boee (come to me)", featured as part of the world renowned Idan Raichel Project. “Boee” went on to become one of the most popular songs in Israeli music history. in 2009 Yair release his first album called TIME , The album was played numerous times and reached the top of the charts of most radio stations in ISRAEL. Yair won the Discovery of the Year, and was the most played singer in ISRAEL. The Band was conceived by its members to create music with an uncommon flavor, sound and ambiance. All lyrics are penned by Yair Ziv and are in English because. Lego Lepricons have released EP album with 6 tracks. Music Critics from around the world praised the EP and compared the band to bands like RADIOHEAD, MUSE, ELBOW and more. (See reviews). In 2013 the band went on a two months European tour, they performed in France, UK, Ireland, Belgium and the Netherlands. They also performed in the YouBloom showcase in Dublin and the tune in Tel-Aviv showcase in the UK . The album also includes two songs (" Well, I don't think so" and "You should have known) that criticize the current Israeli government's conduct in internal social affairs as well as foreign relations policies piercingly. Lego Lepricons are: Yair Ziv (vocals, guitars), Roy Messiah (drums), Nitzan Berger (guitar and percussion), Shlomi Maya (piano, keyboard and programming) – all, professional musicians themselves who have previously collaborated with many successful artists from the Israeli music industry.
